Payment Methods
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and payment is made online when you place your order. The payment is processed in euros (EUR) by our payment service provider Viva.com (Vivabank Single Member Banking S.A., a credit institution authorised by the Bank of Greece) on a secure payment page.
Accepted payment methods
- Credit and debit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express;
- Apple Pay and Google Pay on compatible devices;
- any other local payment methods shown on the payment page, depending on your country and device.
Your account is charged when you confirm your order.
Security
You enter your payment details directly on the secure, PCI-DSS certified payment page of Viva.com. They never pass through our servers and we never see your full card number. The connection is encrypted (SSL/TLS). Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with strong customer authentication (3-D Secure).
Payment in euros
Our company is based in Estonia, so payments are processed in euros. The total in pounds sterling is converted into euros at the European Central Bank’s daily reference rate, and the approximate amount in euros is shown on the checkout page, just above the “Place order” button, before you confirm your order.
Your bank converts this amount into the currency of your card and may apply its own exchange rate, a currency conversion fee or an international transaction fee. These fees are set by your bank, not by us.
Name on your bank statement
The payment appears on your bank statement with the reference WICKER BASKET.
Refunds
Refunds are always made to the payment method used for the order. As your payment was made in euros, refunds are made in euros for the amount you paid; because of exchange rate changes, the amount credited to your account in your card’s currency may differ slightly from the amount originally debited. See our Returns and Refunds page.
Invoices
An invoice is available for every order. You can download it from your customer account or request it by email at contact@wicker-basket.co.uk.
